The lightweight SLX brake disc is made with a sandwich construction of aluminum and stainless steel, ensuring optimal braking performance in both dry and wet conditions.
The aluminum core improves heat dissipation, significantly increasing stability. The Alu Spider provides high rigidity, preventing the disc from deforming and largely avoiding annoying grinding.
The SM-RT70 brake discs deliver powerful and consistent braking performance in all riding conditions. The Ice Technologies disc significantly reduces heat buildup in the braking system, ensuring consistent braking performance, even on the steepest descents. Shimano's Center Lock mounting system makes installing and removing the brake discs easy and quick thanks to its splined mount and lock ring design.
